Hall To Step Away From Experience Waterloo September 4

The executive director of Experience Waterloo will be stepping down next week after nearly nine years at the helm.  Tavis Hall resigned from his position on the tourism organization and will leave September 4th.  Hall also serves on the Black Hawk County Board of Supervisors.  In a social media post, Hall says, “It’s been a genuine privilege to help shape the story of Waterloo, grow My Waterloo Days and to be a part of our community’s progress.”   Lindsay Pieters will take over as the interim executive director on Monday, September 7th. Pieters has worked as the organization’s marketing director for the past seven years. She will lead efforts to promote Waterloo while the board searches for a permanent executive director. The board said it will share updates as the search moves forward.
