7.8.26 – Area Class 2A & 1A Regional Quarterfinal Softball Scores

The high school softball continued Wednesday night with Regional Quarterfinals Class 2A and 1A.

In 2A games involving area schools;

Columbus Catholic rolled past Jesup, 10-3,

Wapsie Valley edged Hudson, 4-2,

Grundy Center overpowered Denver, 10-3,

And Sumner-Fredericksburg stopped South Winn, 10-0.

In 1A games involving area schools;

Clarksville got past Montezuma, 3-1,

Lone Tree blanked Janesville, 10-0,

And Don Bosco over Hillcrest Academy, 6-4.
