Area Beverage Distributor Makes Water Donations to Area Volunteer Fire Departments

Fahr Beverage of Waterloo and Anheuser-Busch have made water donations to several northeast Iowa Volunteer Fire departments.  Anheuser-Busch and Fahr Beverage delivered a combined 11,760 cans of emergency drinking water to the Dunkerton, Elkader, Fairbank, Gilbertville and Postville Fire departments. Anheuser-Busch is providing 1.5 million cans of emergency drinking water to over 630 volunteer fire departments across 45 states. Officials say this donation prepares local volunteer firefighters with vital resources ahead of the annual summer wildfire season, rather than waiting for disaster to strike.
