Waterloo Police have now released the name of the motorcyclist who died in a crash on Wednesday afternoon. Police say that 43-year old Marcus Porter of Waterloo died at the scene of the crash around 3:45PM on Sergeant Road (US Highway 63) near Freedom Lane in Waterloo.
A preliminary investigation has indicated that Porter was northbound on Sergeant Road on a green 2001 Kawasaki ZX900 motorcycle when the bike left the roadway, entered the shoulder and crashed into the median.
