UPDATE: 4:20PM Fireworks Over The Dome has been postponed to Sunday night because of the weather on Friday night. Same time as what was scheduled for Friday, but now postponed until Sunday night, July 5th.
(ORIGINAL STORY:) Fireworks Over the Dome, presented by the City of Cedar Falls and the University of Northern Iowa Thursday night. The event will celebrate 50 years of Sturgis Falls festivity, 150 years of UNI, and America 250. The free community fireworks show will begin around 9:40 p.m. at the intramural fields west of the UNI Dome. Parking lots and green spaces will open at 7 PM. The show will be broadcast live with an accompanying soundtrack on 93.5 The Mix.
