The United States Hockey League is expanding.
The USHL and a group of stakeholders have signed a memorandum to establish teams in Arizona, California, and Nevada.
An announcement about the teams, markets, and timelines will be made on Wednesday, June 24th.
The USHL, the only Tier-one junior hockey league in the United States, is currently comprised of 16 teams, including the Waterloo Black Hawks.
The Madison Capitols were the USHL’s last expansion team, joining the League in 2014.
