Area Athletes Compete Today at Boys State Tennis Tournament

The High School Boys State Tennis Singles and Doubles Meets begin today.

The Class 1A Meet is at Byrnes Park in Waterloo, while the Class 2A Meet is at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Center in Iowa City.

Area athletes competing include;

(2A) Cedar Falls’ Ben Smalley in singles,

(1A) Aplington-Parkersburg’s Tyler Wedeking in singles,

(1A) Columbus Catholic’s Parker Stroh and Bryce Noland in doubles,

and (1A) Waverly-Shell Rock’s Jack Wedemeier and Brady Willis in doubles.

Boys State Tennis goes through tomorrow (5/28).
