A two vehicle crash blocked US Highway 63 south of Waterloo late Monday morning. An SUV and a UnityPoint At Home box truck crashed in the area of Sergeant Road (Hwy 63) and Ranchero Road just after 11AM. According to the Iowa State Patrol, the SUV was southbound on Sergeant Road and crashed into the box truck, which was northbound for an undetermined reason. No names have been released, but the SUV driver was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries, the box truck driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
