The price of gas continues to go up and is running 9 cents higher in the last week in Iowa. The average cost for a gallon of gas in Iowa is $4.31, according to GasBuddy’s survey of over 2,000 stations across the state. Prices in Iowa are 73 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand $1.37/g higher than a year ago. According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Iowa was priced at $3.76/g Sunday. The cheapest gas in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area was $4.14 at Hudson.
