Gas prices in Iowa have jumped 25 cents per gallon in the past week, according to the latest survey by GasBuddy. The average price is $3.96 per gallon statewide. Prices in Iowa are 46 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and $1.03 per gallon higher than a year ago. According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Iowa was $3.29 per gallon. The lowest prices in the Cedar Falls-Waterloo area were between $3.79 and $3.86.
