Cedar Falls Council Approves Agreement For New City Admin
Craig Clark To Start on July 6

On Monday night, the Cedar Falls City Council unanimously approved an employment agreement for their new city administrator. Craig Clark was selected to fill the role left vacant with the departure of Ron Gaines last year. Clark is the city administrator and port authority executive director in Austin, Minnesota. Cedar Falls Mayor Danny Laudick says he’s excited to have Clark join in.
Finance and Business Operations Director Jennifer Rodenbeck has served in the role of acting city administrator, while the search for the new city administrator took place. Laudick says it’ll be great to move forward.
Clark’s starting salary would be $230,000 per year, with an increase to $235,000 a year after six months completion of satisfactory performance. He’s expected to start in Cedar Falls on July 6th.
