Cedar Falls Public Safety Holds Spring Open House

Cedar Falls Public Safety held their spring open house Thursday night at the Cedar Falls Public Safety Center.  It’s the first of three open house events held throughout the year.  Lieutenant Gavin Carman says despite the chilly weather, there was still a good turnout at the event.

Guests were able to explore emergency rescue vehicles and meet police officers and firefighters. The Black Hawk County Sheriff’s drone team was on hand, as well as University of Northern Iowa Police officers, and MercyOne Waterloo paramedics. Carman said there were some new items also on display at the event.  

The next open house planned by Cedar Falls Public Safety will be the annual National Night Out event in early August.
