The University of Northern Iowa’s annual day of giving, Live Purple Give Gold, is underway Thursday. Live Purple, Give Gold is the annual fundraiser to empower people and programs that fuel UNI’s success. Live Purple by celebrating the impact UNI has made on donors’ life. Give Gold to support the majors and programs donors love on campus. UNI Alumni Association President Brian Gabel explains the importance of today’s annual day of giving.
Donors can select exactly which funds they’d like to give to. Gabel says they hope to pull in a total of 1,876 donors to contribute to this year’s annual day of giving.
The event runs through midnight.
