Clarksville Man Injured After Early Morning Crash Into Shell Rock River

A Clarksville man was injured after his car went into the Shell Rock River early Sunday morning.  According to the Iowa State Patrol, 45-year old Adam Averhoff drove his car north on Iowa Highway 188 near 195th Street, when the car went off the roadway and went into the river.  Averhoff was able to get out on his own and he was taken by Clarksville EMS to UnityPoint-Allen Hospital for his injuries.  The Iowa Dive Team assisted in getting Averhoff’s car out of the river.
