Shots Fired In Waterloo, Man Incurs Graze Wound

Waterloo Police are continuing their investigation into a call on gunfire in the 1000 block of Grant Avenue Sunday night that occurred around 7:15PM. Later that evening, just before 10PM, officers were called to UnityPoint-Allen Hospital after a gunshot victim arrived by private vehicle. The man had a graze wound to his head. He told officers that he was walking near West 9th Street and Randolph Street when he heard gunshots and ducked. Investigators later discovered the scene in the 1100 block of Randolph Street, where six .380 caliber shell casings and two .40 caliber shell casings were found.
