John Deere Plans To Call Back 146 Waterloo Employees in March

John Deere and Company plans to bring back 146 employees to its Waterloo Tractor Operations, due to an increase in production demand. According to a press release by the company, the workers will return in early March, with callbacks coming through the month. Returning workers will support 8R production in roles such as assembly, machining, logistics and foundry operations through the Drive Train Operations, Tractor Operations, Engine Works and the foundry.
In January, Deere announced a recall of nearly 100 Iowa workers, including 75 in the Davenport Works, and 24 in the Dubuque Works.
