UPDATE: Waterloo Teen Dies in Rural Black Hawk County Crash

UPDATED WITH NEW INFORMATION:

A Waterloo teenager died after a rural Black Hawk County crash early Tuesday morning. The Iowa State Patrol says a car driven by 15-year old Ciara Crisman was eastbound on Independence Avenue when she pulled out in front of a semi driven by Travis Rink of Clarion at  the intersection with South Canfield Rd. Both vehicles ended up in the southeast corner of the intersection. Crisman was pronounced dead at the scene. Rink was not injured. Conditions were very foggy at the time of the crash, which occurred around 7:45 AM. The investigation is continuing.
