Former Cedar Falls standout Will Tompkins transferring to Penn State

Iowa State offensive tackle Will Tompkins has announced his transfer/commitment to Penn State.

Tompkins, a Cedar Falls native, redshirted during his lone season at Iowa State and joins Penn State with four years of eligibility remaining.

The 6-foot-5, 300-pound offensive lineman signed with Iowa State as a three-star recruit out of Cedar Falls.

He was listed as the 57th best offensive tackle in the 2025 class.
