Waterloo and Cedar Falls Prepares For Runoff Elections

Voters in Waterloo and Cedar Falls are preparing again to head to the polls for Tuesday’s runoff elections, where they will decide several significant races.   In both Waterloo and Cedar Falls, city council seats are up for grabs, alongside the mayoral race in Waterloo. Incumbent Quentin Hart is vying for reelection against Councilman Dave Boesen.  In Ward 1, incumbent John Chiles is  being challenged by former councilman Steven Schmitt.  In Cedar Falls, Ward 3, incumbent Daryl Kruse faces challenger Tom Nagle.

On election day Tuesday, polls will be open at 10 voting centers from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Voters in the Waterloo city limits (including those in Ward 1) may vote at any of the following 10 locations:

• Celebration Church – 745 April St., Waterloo
• Central Christian Church – 3475 Kimball Ave., Waterloo
• Crossroads Community Church – 3622 Hammond Ave., Waterloo
• ISU Extension – 3420 University Ave., Waterloo
• St. Paul United Methodist Church – 207 W Louise St., Waterloo
• Our Saviors Lutheran Church – 420 Harwood Ave., Waterloo
• Payne Memorial Church – 1044 Mobile St., Waterloo
• Linden Methodist Church – 301 Butler Ave., Waterloo
• Zion Lutheran Church – 810 Kimball Ave., Waterloo
• Cedar Valley Church – 3520 Ansborough Ave., Waterloo

Voters in Cedar Falls Ward 3 can vote only at Cedar Falls Christian Church – 2727 W. 4th St., Cedar Falls.
