UPDATE: Waterloo Police Make Arrest in Friday Shooting

Waterloo Police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting Friday morning. Officers responded to 236 Boston Avenue around 11 AM Friday on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim. He was taken to UnityPoint-Allen Hospital, where he later died. He has now been identified as 21-year old Nyavais Johnson of Waterloo. 31-year old Jessie James Harmon III has been arrested for intimidation with a weapon, prohibited person in possession of a firearm, and a probation violation.
