Waterloo Police are investigating a homicide that occurred on Friday morning. Officers responded to 236 Boston Avenue around 11AM on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim. Life-saving measures were performed, until Waterloo Fire Rescue personnel arrived, to take over. He was taken to UnityPoint-Allen Hospital, where he later died. The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of family members.
