Waterloo Council Approves JSA Development Plan For Black’s Building Rehab

The Waterloo City Council Monday night unanimously approved a plan by JSA Development to rehabilitate the legendary Black’s Building downtown, into a 130-room national brand upper-mid scale hotel with several apartments and commercial space. The estimated cost of the redevelopment would be around $57 million. David Deeds with JSA Development on the project.
Deeds says they’ll announce the name of the national hotel brand within the next two to three months.
