Former UNI standout Tytan Anderson signs with Leuven Bears

Former UNI men’s basketball forward Tytan Anderson has signed his first professional contract with the Leuven Bears — a Belgian professional basketball club that competes in the BNXT League.

Anderson recently took part in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas with the New Orleans Pelicans where he appeared in one game. In his only appearance Anderson finished with 3 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 block.

The Eldridge, Iowa native averaged a team-leading 15.5 points and 6.5 rebounds for UNI last season.
