Caitlin Clark, Indiana Fever to play preseason game at Carver-Hawkeye Arena May 4th

Iowa basketball legend Caitlin Clark hasn’t played her last game at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, even though her number 22 Hawkeye jersey will be retired this weekend.

The WNBA’s Indiana Fever announced it will play a preseason game against the Brazilian National Team on May 4th at Carver-Hawkeye Area. 

Clark was the Fever’s number one draft pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft and was the league’s Rookie of the Year this past season. 

Clark’s jersey is being retired Sunday following the Hawkeyes’ matchup against 4th-ranked USC. Tip-off of Iowa vs. USC is at 12:30pm.
